Welcoming your baby into the world is one of life’s most precious moments — and preserving those early days with carefully styled, timeless portraits is my passion.
Based in South East London, I specialise in classic newborn photography with beautifully coordinated props, delicate wraps and gentle posing. While many photographers have moved to purely lifestyle shoots, I still believe in the magic of carefully posed portraits: the tiny curled-up positions, dreamy headbands, handmade hats and elegant blankets that turn your newborn session into a piece of art.
Over the years, I’ve created a calm, baby-led process that keeps little ones comfortable and parents relaxed, while capturing those perfect, softly posed images you’ll treasure forever.
My studio in SE London is thoughtfully designed with a wide collection of wraps, props and textured backdrops — so every session feels unique, personal and beautifully styled.

When should I book my newborn photography session?
The best time to secure your newborn session is after your 20-week scan. As I only accept a limited number of newborn bookings each month, booking early helps ensure availability and avoids disappointment.
You can reserve your spot with a £60 non-refundable deposit, and choose your preferred package closer to your session date.
When is the best time for a newborn photoshoot?
Newborn photography sessions are ideally scheduled when your baby is between 6–16 days old. During this time, babies are usually sleepier and more curled up, allowing us to capture those beautiful, classic newborn poses safely and comfortably.
What should I bring and how can I prepare?
My Abbey Wood photography studio is fully equipped with carefully selected props, tiny outfits, hats, headbands, beds, buckets, baskets and more — so there’s no need to bring or purchase anything special for your baby.
After you book, we’ll have a detailed consultation to discuss your preferred colours and styling, so everything is prepared in advance. A few days before your session, I’ll also send you a helpful session guide with tips on what to pack in your nappy bag and how to prepare.
If you’d like family portraits, you’re welcome to bring your chosen outfits on hangers; you’ll also have access to a steamer at the studio. To help you relax, complimentary refreshments are provided — and yes, dads are welcome to rest on the sofa during the session!
When will I receive my photos and when do I pay the balance?
Your beautifully edited digital images will be delivered within 14 days of your newborn session. Keepsake USBs and prints are posted by Royal Mail shortly after.
The £60 session fee is payable at the time of booking, and your chosen package balance is due on the day of your session or earlier if you prefer.
What if I change my mind about the package I’ve chosen?
No problem at all! You’re welcome to change your package choice — just let me know at least 48 hours before your session so I can update everything for you.

When should I book my session?
You’re welcome to book your session at any time — even shortly before your baby’s first birthday! To secure your slot, a £60 non-refundable deposit is required.
For first birthday photoshoots and cake smash sessions, I recommend scheduling the session 2–3 weeks before your baby’s actual birthday. This allows plenty of time for editing and ensures you receive your images before the big celebration.
What to bring and what’s included in the session?
The Gold birthday package includes three mini sessions to capture your little one’s special milestone:
1️⃣ Classic birthday portraits with family – We’ll start with timeless images of your baby in a smart outfit (for boys) or a beautiful dress (for girls).
2️⃣ Fun cake smash – When the cake comes out and your baby’s personality shines! We’ll discuss your preferences beforehand: you’re welcome to bring your own cake (homemade is perfectly fine) or I can supply one for you. Please note: I only provide cakes for babies with no known allergies.
3️⃣ Adorable bubble bath – A favourite for many babies! Please bring a small towel and your own bubble bath if your little one has sensitive skin.
All themed decorations and props are provided by me. Before your session, we’ll have a detailed consultation (usually 2–3 weeks in advance) to discuss ideas, choose a colour scheme, and ensure everything reflects your vision.

Maternity
When to book my session?
Best to book your session after your 20 weeks scan, you can book your maternity and newborn session the same time. We will schedule your session somewhere between 30-34 weeks , when you will have a beautiful baby bump.
Do I have to do my hair and make up myself?
You can of course or if you like to be pampered for a day I can book make up and hair dresser for you to come to the studio.(extra cost)
What should I wear?
I have 10+ gorgeous gowns you can pick from, in every colour you can imagine from a very elegant, simply white and black to the full tulle pink extravaganza. Of course if you wish you can bring your easy , no fuss jeans and white shirt combo.
Outdoor or studio?
Both options are available . From April to October you can choose between outdoor or studio session .
Can we include partners and siblings?
Yes, of course.

Sitter/Baby
What is the sitter session , who is it for?
Sitter session is for babies who can sit by themselves, usually between 7-9 months. This is a perfect little session for babies who missed their newborn sessions for some reason or in some cultures they don't take pictures of the babies in the early weeks/months. Also perfect opportunity to capture this milestone in between newborn and the first birthday session.
What shall I bring,how shall I prepare?
You can bring a couple of cute outfits or you can pick from my wardrobe. I will send you a "guide" before your session and we will make sure your baby is happy during their shoot so I can capture those cute little smiles.

Preserve your memories. Cherish the moments . There is always a reason to book a family session. New adoption to the family, fast growing kids , beautiful surprise for grandparents , family reunion...and lots more.
My family sessions are fun for the kids , hopefully not too awkward for the teens and I am dads favorite person because I try to be quick.
Between April and October you can choose between studio or outdoor session. I can travel to nearby beaches to capture a beautiful sunset or sunrise with your family ( travel fees apply).
